Nike Grind is a shoe recycling and sustainability program where they collect worn out shoes, grind them up and turn them into a basketball court, track, field or playground. So far Nike has collected over 22 million pairs of shoes globally since 1990. Shoe drop off locations are located at Nike retail stores, universities, athletic clubs, special events or National Recycling Coalition centers across the country.
