The Emmy award-winning series 24 from Twentieth Century Fox is the first-ever carbon neutral television production. I’m a huge fan of 24 and belive or not, did wonder if all those explosions and fake gases were unnecessarily causing pollution for the sake of entertaining us. So i’m excited to know one of my favorite TV shows is carbon neutral and let’s find out how.

Motorola is trying to be greener by creating the world’s first carbon neutral cellphone, the W223 Renew. First off this phone is certified to be carbon free by CarbonFund.org and the 100% recyclable phone housing is made from recycled plastic water bottles.

When the phone reaches the end of its life or usage it can be easily recycled by placing it in a prepaid envelope that is provided in the box. In addition the  phone’s packaging consumes 22% less material and the manual is printed on post consumer recycled paper with soy-based inks.
