Lexus HS 250h Arriving Fall 2009

lexus_hs2501

When I first heard Lexus was making a specialty luxury hybrid, I was excited to see what sporty design they would go with. We’re glad it doesn’t look like a Prius, but sure looks alot like a Corolla! There’s really no word how much the HS 250h will cost or how many miles per gallon it will achieve, all we’ve heard is that it’s coming out this year.

I do admit the interior has a very luxrious feel, and the eco-friendly touches are nice like using sustainable castor seeds as the main material for the seat cushions, and 30% of the vehicle’s plastic interiors are made from ecological plant-derived plastics.

infinti_essence

The Infiniti Essence is more proof that hybrid cars can be gorgeous. This concept car combines a 434 horsepower Turbocharged V6 engine with a 158 horsepower 3D electric assist motor for a combined 592 horsepower. Other stylish touches are the full glass roof, 2 totally different color schemes for the driver and passenger, also notice the side mirrors are missing and possibly replaced with 2 small cameras. One last thing, the Essence comes with Louis Vuitton luggage that fits in perfectly inside the trunk.
