All this writing on my part and I never mention two of my favorite places to shop, Plato’s Closet and Buffalo Exchange. What a great way to earn some money for your gently worn clothes while obtaining new ones. I admit I’m somewhat a fashion whore at times and like some of the new styles that are being sold but too cheap to buy retail (plus I like to help the environment by completing the loop and buying recycle). Each store has different items they buy so sometimes it takes 2 stores for me to sell most of my items. The rest I donate to their cause of the day.

We only wear about 20% of the clothes we buy and the rest of it ends up in land fills. How can you help? Obviously try buying clothes you need, made out of good quality so it last longer and try donating your old clothes to the good will or sell it to a vintage store.
