This Platypus plusBottle cost around $12, and is one of the most clever reusable water bottle designs we’ve seen. To top it off these plusBottles are made from a BPA-free, taste-free, gunk-free film!
This plusBottle can hold 1-liter of water, and still be 80% lighter and more compact than any other bottle of equal volume. The flim used has an all-natural, silver-ion based anti-microbial coating called SlimeGuard, it’s very durable and has a loop so you can carry it hands-free on hikes.

I just purchased one of these Biogreen bottles from Amazon.com and so far so good, the bottle is durable and leaves no after taste. I think this is the 4th reusable, BPA free bottle i’ve acquired since starting the greenerist site. The unique thing about these BPA, DEHA and DEHP free water bottles are that they can be recycled or can biodegrade in a landfill between 1-5 years after your using it.

Most water bottles are made of plastics that contain a chemical called Bisphenol-A (BPA) which can leech into your water. So be sure to recycle your existing polycarbonate water bottle and spring for a BPA-free plastic water bottle. Visit Amazon.com or CampBound.com to purchase some BPA-free water bottles.

KOR One is a high-end BPA-free, uniquely designed water bottle that cost $29.95 and is trying to inspire a movement. They believe drinking from a reusable water bottle is something simple and yet a huge contribution by not wasting plastic.
